A Prayer for a Spirit of Wisdom

Heavenly Father,

As I enter this new month, I ask You to fill me with a spirit of wisdom.

Your Word reminds me that true wisdom comes from You. Teach me not to depend only on what I know, what I have experienced, or what seems right in my own eyes.

Give me wisdom that recognizes Your voice.

Give me understanding that sees beyond what is obvious.

Give me discernment to know what deserves my attention, what requires patience, and what I need to release.

Lord, develop in me the wisdom to make sound decisions and the skill to carry them out with excellence.

May I never become so confident in my own ability that I stop seeking You.

Let Your wisdom guide my thoughts, my words, my work, and every decision I make.

This month, make me both wise and teachable.
