A Prayer for Wisdom for the Next Step

Lord,

Thank You that I do not have to see the entire road before I move forward.

When I am uncertain about what comes next, quiet the pressure I feel to have everything figured out. Give me Wisdom for the step that is in front of me today.

Help me pay attention to where You are leading. Keep me from rushing ahead because of impatience or standing still because of fear.

Teach me to consider my path carefully, to listen for Your instruction, and to trust that Your wisdom is enough for every decision I will face.

When the road ahead is unclear, remind me that You are not confused about my direction.

Give me Wisdom for the next step, faith for the step after that, and a heart willing to follow You one step at a time.

In Jesus' Name,

Amen
