A Prayer for Wisdom & Gratitude

Heavenly Father,

As this new month begins, I come before You with gratitude.

Before I ask for anything more, help me recognize what You have already placed in my life.

Open my eyes to blessings I have grown accustomed to: the breath in my lungs, the strength for today, the people who care for me, and the quiet ways You provide.

Forgive me for noticing what is missing more quickly than what is present.

Teach me that Your goodness is not measured only by abundance, comfort, or answered prayers.

Even in an unfinished season, I can thank You for Your faithfulness and trust You with what remains uncertain.

Guard my heart against comparison and the constant desire for more.

Give me Wisdom to steward what I have, contentment to enjoy it, and generosity to share it with others.

May gratitude shape the words I speak, the decisions I make, and the way I enter each day this month.

Let me remember that every good gift draws my attention back to You.
